Ryan joined SpeedConnect in 2009 as a tower technician, and was promoted in April of 2010 to Technical Operations Manager for Iowa. Ryan has worked with a WISP (wireless internet service provider) since 2004, and previously worked in a license free network using Motorola Canopy and Ubiquiti wireless technologies. His background also includes telephone work installing T1’s, phone lines, demark extensions, satellite internet, satellite TV, sound masking, commercial cabling, and commercial surveillance systems. Ryan is working on his bachelor’s degree in IT with an emphasis on telecommunications.
