Job Brief:

SpeedConnect High-Speed Internet, Television and Telephone is seeking an experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to oversee all marketing operations of the company and develop its marketing strategy and vision. This key leadership role will guide a team of enthusiastic marketing professionals and will direct our marketing efforts including reports to the chief executive officer and must perform as a transformational leader within a fast-paced environment.

The position of CMO must be passionate about sales and marketing, its role within the organization, and has great knowledge of marketing concepts, analytics, and an organizational understanding of the online world. This includes marketing evaluations, recommendations and decisions, competitive analysis in each market, training, customer retention, forecasting, budgeting, pricing, product positioning and placement, strategy, tactics, public relations, and efficient implementation of the company business plan. The CMO protects, strengthens, grows, and represents the company brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain company strategic plan and position
  • Ability to use analytics to measure opportunities and find the key metrics to guide the organization to success and longevity
  • Listen to trends in the market and direct marketing research efforts for the company
  • Develop long term partners that can help make SpeedConnect a successful entity
  • Grow, maintain, nurture and strengthen our DISH and ViaSat and other current partner relationships
  • Integrate new products into our product mix to include LTEXtreme, Cellular mobile service, Exede and others, that create sustainability
  • Strategize and make decisions regarding customer retention, loss, and churn
  • Provide feedback to operations, technical managers, subordinates, peers and company executives on ways and methods to reduce loss
  • Travel to markets as needed to support local mangers, and better experience the company through the eyes of its customers and members
  • Support all members as needed with materials, clothing, and supplies for marketing
  • Maintain, develop and grow good communications throughout the company
  • Analyze sales reports daily, monthly and yearly to determine trends and help make staffing and marketing recommendations on budgets and forecasts
  • Work with market managers to help identify and successfully launch new SpeedConnect market opportunities
  • Work with market managers to develop door-to-door tactics and resources

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, MBA or equivalent preferred
  • 10 years plus demonstrated experience in a senior marketing executive strategic role and experience and management experience with multiple offices across the US
  • Demonstrated hands on expert skills with tools needed for this position’s accountabilities; Office, Excel, Google analytics, Google documents, and other online and cloud resources
