Remember to use your entire email address as the username for all SpeedConnect-hosted email addresses.

Login to the webmail interface to adjust spam settings.

Change your password occasionally, and remember to include both upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols in your password.

Settings for mail clients
(ex. Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, or iPhone):

1. All SpeedConnect domains, including business customers
   (echoicemi.com, speedconnect.com, speednetllc.com,
   zipnet.us, domains hosted by CommSpeed)

Incoming IMAP port: 993
SSL: Enabled
Outgoing Mail Server: outgoing.speedconnect.com
Outgoing server: 465

E-mail Username: (full email address, including '@domain.com')
Password: (your password)
Require logon using SPA(Secure Password Authentication): disabled
My outgoing server requires authentication: Enabled - Use same settings as incoming server
Password Authentication: Clear-Text or Password Authentication

 

2. Sioux Valley Wireless customers
Incoming mail server: mail.svtv.com
Incoming POP3 port: 110
Incoming IMAP port: 143
SSL: Disabled
Outgoing mail server: mail.svtv.com
Outgoing server: 587
SSL: Disabled
